The answer is rolled each time the puzzle starts, so learn the rule rather than one answer.

What you see

Wellness Check is the first puzzle, in the tutorial room of the R&D Headquarters. It has two parts. In one, 3 screens show symbols and you press 3 buttons in the right order. In the other, you use 3 of the room's 5 devices in the right order. A fourth screen, the solution console, is the main display of the puzzle.

How it works

  1. Each attempt picks 3 of the 6 symbols below and a random order for the 3 buttons. Press the buttons in that order.
  2. The device part picks 3 of the 5 devices in a random order. Use them in that order.
  3. Both answers are rolled by the game when the part starts. Every attempt can be different, so no guide can give you the order.
  4. A wrong order fails that part. After 4 seconds it starts again with a new random answer, so read the screens again before the next try.

Call out each symbol or device before anyone presses or uses it. One wrong step means a new roll.

Solution

Do not try to remember an order from a guide or a past attempt. Only what the screens show right now counts.

How to solve any roll
  1. Read the symbol screens and the solution console.
  2. Press the 3 buttons in the order the screens give.
  3. Use the 3 devices the screens give, in that order.
  4. If a screen shows the fail state, wait 4 seconds and read the new answer.

The game files do not say exactly how the console lays out the answer, so this page does not guess at it.

Common mistakes

  • Copying an order from a video or guide. Both parts are random on every attempt.
  • Repeating the last order after a fail. The part restarts with a new answer.
  • Using every device in the room. Only 3 of the 5 are in each answer.
