缶詰の果物や乾燥穀物につきましては、現在も十分な在庫を確保しております。私どもは、そもそも南極へ牛を連れてきているわけではなく、いつも乳製品を仕入れていた取引先が、食料をめぐる暴動により閉鎖を余儀なくされ、仕入れることができなくなりました

Dear Valued Customers;
We regret to inform you that we will no longer be serving any dairy products in the staff canteen. While our stocks of tinned fruit and dried grains remains outstanding, we did not in fact bring a cow herd to the Antartic, and our usual supplier was forced to close when the food riots reached their estates. Efforts are ongoing to find another.
