OBJET : SANS OBJETDr Murray refuse de se coucher sans une nouvelle dose de sédatifs. Il dit se sentir piégé dès qu’il se glisse sous les draps, comme s’ils l’étouffaient. J’ai administré une nouvelle dose de diazépam au Dr Murray. Je ne pense pas qu’il nous dise tout. Il sait exactement ce qui est arrivé à Sen et Lewis, et je pense qu’il refoule cette expérience. Il a vu les peluches Octodoc envoyées par ma fille et il est devenu complètement dingue. Il nous a fallu s'y mettre à trois pour le maîtriser et lui administrer le sédatif. Je vais essayer de lui parler encore un peu. Mais bon sang, Cristina, je suis chirurgien, pas thérapeute !

Dr Murray refuses to go to bed without another course of sedatives. He says he feels trapped whenever he gets under the sheets, like they’re suffocating him. I’ve given Dr Murray another round of diazepam. I don’t think he’s telling us the whole story - I think he knows exactly what happened to Sen and Lewis, and is repressing the experience. He saw the Octodoc toys my daughter sent me and lost his damn mind. It took three of us to hold him down to administer the sedative. I’m going to try talking to him some more. But, damn it Cristina, I’m a surgeon not a therapist!
