SUBJECT: NO SUBJECT
My Dad was a trade unionist his whole life, and when I told him I going to work for Norček I honestly thought he'd throw the teapot at me. I tried to explain it, that all our governments are so busy worrying about their countries that there isn't an institution big enough to worry about the world - and I think he got it. I think he understood. But he still gave me a copy of Engel's "The Condition of the Working Class" to bring with me to Antarctica. (And a box of proper tea, which is a kind of forgiveness.)
