Certains employés résistent encore au changement de nom des « particules thêta » en « Jestrons ». Certains estiment que c'est un nom « ridicule », indigne de l'histoire de la nomenclature scientifique des particules. Je leur ai rappelé que la science nous avait déjà donné des termes comme « putrescine », « quark charmé » et « squark », et qu'en comparaison, « Jestron » était un excellent nom.

There is still some staff resistance to the rebranding of ‘Theta Particles’ as the ‘Jestron’. Some feel that it is a ‘silly’ name that holds no place within the history of scientific naming particles. I have reminded them that science had given us terms as ‘Thunking’, ‘Arsole’ and ‘Fartulum’, and comparatively the Jestron is an excellent name.
