Where to find it
The World Beyond the Rift, Farpoint Outpost, Room four
How to find it
Just inside room four, on the other side of the airlock door from the yellow rug: a small office with a green carpet. The tape recorder lies on the white desk by the door, next to the fax machine and the computer.
Walk up to the tape recorder (within 1.5 m) and interact with it. Its light turns yellow while the recording plays, and you can play it again as often as you like.
Checkpoints where its area is loaded
- 7-4 Farpoint Outpost · both players
From the game files: the area is loaded at these checkpoints. A door on the way can still be locked at some of them.
