How to find it
In the lab on the way out of room two, the one with two round pods side by side against the wall. A long lab bench stands in a sunken square in the middle; the tape recorder sits on it next to the glass jar with a purple plant, beside a stool.
Walk up to the tape recorder (within 1.5 m) and interact with it. Its light turns yellow while the recording plays, and you can play it again as often as you like.
