Ho finalmente avuto notizie da mia madre. I medici dicono che vogliono operarla, ma per via dei blackout non sanno quando potranno farlo. Cosa succede se salta la luce mentre mamma è sotto i ferri? Cosa succede se devono collegarla a una macchina per aiutarla a respirare?

I finally heard from my Mum. The doctors say they want to operate, but with the blackouts, they don’t know when it’ll be safe to try. What happens if the lights go out while Mum’s lying there? What happens if they need to put her on a machine to help her breathe?
