ID-181 is a simple little organism. It eats long-chain hydrocarbons, breaking them down into their component parts. So far, so basic, you might say. Lot's of applications. The problem arises from two factors. Firstly: 181 is fast-replicating, voracious and very hard to kill. Secondly: 181 loves eating oil.
